Helping Businesses and Individuals Resolve Their Legal Disputes Amicably

Mediation can give clients more control over the legal process and can often provide quicker, more predictable results than a trial while preserving important relationships for you. In the Mediation process, I act as a neutral party to assist both parties in resolving their differences through interest-based negotiations. In the Collaborative process, each party utilizes a trained attorney to problem-solve on a particular issue. I’ll put my extensive negotiation, mediation, and/or collaborative practice experience to work for you in contract, personal injury, real estate, and family law cases.

Strategic Planning and Decisive Action
Every case is different, and that’s why I’ll always work with you to calculate the right course of action to reach your goals. When I go to work for you, I’ll be ready to get results.

Preserving Relationships
In many cases, both parties are best served when they establish a cordial relationship. Through the structured process of mediation, you can set aside hostility and agree on key points. Mediation can be a highly effective tool for you to preserve the stability and well-being of employment, community or business relationships during the turbulent process of litigation or prior to filing a lawsuit. The predictability of mediation reduces the stress of legal conflicts and puts important decisions in your hands, rather than in the court’s power.

Negotiating Contracts

I focus negotiations toward an agreement that accomplishes your business goals. You can avoid potential problems by having a well-drafted contract that explicitly states all the terms of your agreement.  You will feel confident that you are absolutely in compliance with Missouri law and that your rights are protected should a dispute arise.

Resolving Contract Disputes
When a contract is breached, it can wreak havoc on your business. When it is in your best interest to resolve a dispute outside the courtroom, I can effectively guide negotiations toward win-win solutions, often preserving business relationships and sparing you the expense and uncertainty associated with litigation.
